Country Sales Manager - DACH

Munich (or south Germany)

 

My client is a leading provider outdoor clothing as well as high-quality workwear.

 

Your tasks:

  • Manage the sales team and continuously develop sales in the DACH region
  • Maintain and work towards my client`s strategy and structures to ensure long-term growth
  • Be part of the development and implementation of the annual business plan
  • Promote effective customer management in line with regional strategy
  • Establish long term action plans for larger partners
  • Work together with KAMs to fulfil clients needs
  • Ensuring a high level of service
  • Conduct product training for all relevant customers
  • Responsible of the workware P&L in DACH
  • Work closely with supervisor on all financial matters for your region
  • People management
  • Determining staffing needs and conducting job interviews
  • Training/development of sales staff in collaboration with supervisors
  • Conduct at least quarterly and annual employee reviews regarding performance, disciplinary action, grievance handling and problem resolution

 

 Your profile:

  • Min. 10 years of experience in workwear or other related industries
  • Excellent German and English skills
  • Highly professional, energetic and comfortable in a challenging, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • Experience in leadership, business management and sales coaching in a rapidly changing and competitive market environment
  • Strong customer focus and understanding of creating value for the customer and the end user
  • High commercial and financial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for profitable business.
  • Consultative sales skills
  • Strategic and forward thinking, analytical and planning skills to achieve and exceed quotas and targets
  • Accurate forecasting skills
  • Growth mindset and willingness to gain experience, learn and grow together with the team
  • Experienced use of Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication and outstanding negotiation skills
