I am partnering with an international technology company that specializes in 3D technology, including printers, scanners, and software. They serve various industries such as medical and dental, automotive, semiconductors, and aerospace. Due to continued growth in Germany and across Europe, they are looking to expand their team and are recruiting a Presales Engineer – EMEA. The role is 100% remote and based in a home office in Germany.

Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Pre-sales Engineer, you are an integral part of the software team and work closely together with Sales, Product Management, Technical Support and Marketing. You will assist in pre-sales and post-sales activities working with colleagues, resellers and customers. When they have questions or product-related issues, you are their to support and provide answers. Your clients and partners will be based in Germany and other countries within Europe. Travel is to be expected.

 

Other day-to-day duties will include:

  • ·         Provide general and product technical knowledge to customers and prospects
  • ·         Perform software demonstrations
  • ·         Training of partners and resellers regarding the use of the products
  • ·         Develop and maintain relationships with the partners and customers
  • ·         Participate in company events to raise brand awareness
  • ·         Assist product management by sharing feedback from the market

 

Your profile

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • ·         Solid experience in a similar pre-sales or tech support role
  • ·         Ideally experience and knowledge of 3D scanning and technology
  • ·         Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent
  • ·         Capable of presenting and training
  • ·         Fluent German and English
  • ·         CRM experience is an advantage (Salesforce)
  • ·         Willingness to travel (ca. 40%)
