We are partnering with the global leading provider of cyber security trainings and certifications. With offices across the world and business growing steadily, we are now recruiting for their German team, a Business Development Manager to be based from a home-office in the Ruhrgebiet (Dortmund, Essen, Duisburg area). Your new duties and responsibilities

As the new Business Development Manager, you will



 thrive on developing new business and have the ability and patience to work to both short and long sales cycles. You will be a hands-on new business hunter who likes to roll your sleeves up and open doors with your clients. There will also be existing clients to manage and to further develop by cross- and up-selling. Your client base will mainly come from the critical infrastructure sector (energy, water, travel, telecom). 

You will be tasked with the following

·        Build a territory plan and work consistently to target

·        You will be responsible for generating and closing new business

·        Consultative sales towards your clients by selling a solution consisting of both the product and

the service

·        Work closely together with your colleagues from all departments when putting together the best solution for the client based on its needs

·        Build relationships within your clients in order to penetrate further within the organisation

 

 

Your profile

As the new Business Development Manager, you will be a target driven and proactive sales person who has a previous track record in a high target driven environment. 

You have the following key skills

·        Previous experience selling within large corporations

·        Experience in or selling to critical infrastructure sector in Germany is of advantage

·        Experience selling a service such as trainings or consultancy is an advantage

·        You will be selling to C-Level Stakeholders so essential is the ability to speak their language

·        Experience and/ or knowledge in cyber security is of advantage, but not a necessity

·        Fluency in both German & English is a must, German needs to be business fluent as you will be selling in German.

·        You have previous worked to targets and have a proven track record of sales achievement.
